For lawn care and tree services

The year is won
in six weeks.

Lawn and tree demand does not arrive evenly, and a budget spread flat across twelve months underspends the only weeks that matter. We build the presence, the paid coverage and the phone handling that capture the spring rush — and we report signed contracts and route density, not impressions.

The problem

Spread your budget evenly and you will miss the only weeks that pay.

There is a window — usually a few weeks either side of the first sustained warm spell — when a whole season's contracts are decided. Homeowners look at the garden, decide this is the year they stop doing it themselves, and sign with whoever turns up in the search. Miss it and there is no second window; you spend the summer buying one-off cuts at emergency prices.

Tree work runs on a different clock and is worth defending separately. A removal or a large prune is a four-figure job with a long consideration, and after a storm it is the most urgent search in home services. Blended into one lawn campaign, the cheap mowing conversion wins the budget every time and the tree enquiries quietly stop.

Underneath both is the same margin problem the route businesses have: a contract two streets from an existing stop is worth materially more than the same contract across town, and almost nobody targets for it.

What we report instead

  • Cost per signed contract

Traced to a season or maintenance agreement, not to a quote request.

  • Share of season captured

Contracts signed inside the spring window against the whole year — the number that says whether the budget was in the right place.

  • Density by service area

Where new contracts land against the routes you already drive, so a bigger book does not mean a longer day.

What we run for Lawn & Tree

The whole stack, tuned for a seasonal book.

Bought separately these underperform. Run together, each one makes the next cheaper.

  1. 01

    Local Search & Map Pack

Rank for “lawn care near me”, “tree removal”, “stump grinding” and the treatments you want more of, in the neighbourhoods you already serve. Google Business Profile built and managed, service areas drawn to your crews, and the review programme that moves local position more than anything else you can control.

  2. 02

    Seasonal Budget Planning

The single highest-leverage thing on this page. Spend is weighted to your market's actual calendar — front-loaded into the window, held through the shoulder, cut back rather than burned in the dead weeks — instead of divided by twelve. Storm response is planned in advance so the tree budget is live within hours, not next month.

  3. 03

Google Ads & Local Services Ads

Lawn maintenance and tree work run as separate campaigns with separate budgets, because one converts cheaply and one is worth ten times more. LSA underneath both where your market supports it, charged per lead and sitting above the map pack.

  4. 04

    AI Visibility (GEO / AEO)

“Who removes a fallen oak near me?” is now asked of AI agents, and the answer names a shortlist. Crawler access, plus structured data covering services, service areas, licensing, insurance and hours — the detail a model needs before it will put you on it.

  5. 05

    Capture & Convert

In the rush you cannot answer every call, and in this trade an unanswered call is a signed contract at a competitor within the hour. AI answering and trained CSRs pick up on the first ring, qualify the property, and get the estimate on the calendar. Every call transcribed and scored.

  6. 06

    Measurement & Growth

Spend, leads, cost per lead, cost per acquisition, revenue and return on spend — one clean scorecard every month, plus a strategy call to decide what to scale and what to cut. You always know what a customer costs and what they're worth.

Proof, not adjectives

Where our numbers come from.

Straight answer about the figures Red Palm publishes: $330 → $51 per PPC lead, three trucks to nine inside a year, six consecutive years of doubling. Those were earned in home-service accounts, and we are not going to redress them as lawn and tree results. The machinery is what transfers — local search, Local Services Ads, review velocity, call handling and attribution behave the same way whether the van carries a mower or a drain camera, and seasonal demand is a problem we have budgeted against for years. Ask on the call and we will open the real accounts on screen.

Straight answers

The questions a lawn and tree owner actually asks.

Before you hire any marketing agency, make sure you know these answers.

Should I even advertise in winter?

Less, not nothing — and what you run changes. Holding a small always-on presence keeps the profile and the rankings warm so you are not rebuilding position in March, and in most markets there is real winter work in tree and clean-up that nobody is bidding for. What we will not do is spend the spring budget in January because the plan divided the year by twelve.

Why run tree work separately from lawn care?

Because one is a $60 recurring cut and the other is a $2,000 removal, and inside a single campaign the algorithm optimises for the conversion it can get most of. Run together, tree enquiries quietly disappear and the reporting looks better than the bank account. Separate campaigns, separate budgets, separate landing pages, reported apart.

Can you help after a storm?

That is planned before the storm, not during it. Campaigns and copy are prepared and paused, so budget and messaging go live within hours of the weather rather than after a week of approvals — which is roughly how long the window lasts before the demand has been absorbed by whoever was ready.

Why aren't AI agents recommending my business?

Usually one of two things. Your robots.txt is quietly blocking the AI crawlers — GPTBot, ClaudeBot and Google-Extended are blocked by default on a surprising number of sites — or your pages carry no structured data telling the model what you do, where you work and when you're open. Both are fixable, and most of your competitors haven't done it yet.

Do I own my accounts and website?

Yes. The site, the domain, the ad accounts, the Google Business Profile, the analytics — all in your name. You keep everything if you ever leave. Marketing built on a vendor's rented accounts is a hostage situation, and cleaning that up is half of what we get called in to do.

How fast will I see results?

Paid search can produce estimate requests in the first week. Local search moves in weeks for profile and review work and months for content and links. The honest caveat in this trade is timing rather than speed: starting in February and starting in June are very different propositions, and we will tell you which one you are in before you sign anything.

What we run

AI doesn't recommend businesses because they use the right keywords. It recommends businesses it understands. We structure your website with connected topics, schema, FAQs, entity relationships, and machine-readable content so Google AI, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and future AI platforms can confidently understand — and recommend — your business.

It never misses a call. That's money back on your table.

The calls that come in after hours mostly go to voicemail — where they quietly die. Our AI CSR picks up on the first ring, every single time, qualifies the job and books it. Every call it catches is revenue that would otherwise have gone to whoever answered first.

    Reporting & ROI

    Every month, the money.

Not a dashboard you never log into. Spend, quote requests, contracts signed, cost per contract and where they landed on the map, traced to the campaign behind each one.

Every campaign is traced from the click or the call all the way to the booked job and the revenue it produced. You see which campaigns make money and which ones we’re about to kill — before you have to ask. Once a month we sit down, walk the numbers, and decide what to spend more on and what to cut.

Put a dollar in, know exactly what comes back out.

    Check your own site

How does your site actually hold up?

One address, one test. Google loads your site on a throttled mid-range phone and reports what a real visitor gets, and at the same time we check whether AI agents are even allowed to read you. Takes up to a minute or two, and we don't keep the result.

A finished site check on screen: an overall score of 78 percent, with performance, SEO, mobile, security and conversion each scored out of 100.

Measured by Google PageSpeed Insights on a simulated mid-range phone. Where your site has enough traffic, the numbers are what real visitors actually experienced over the last 28 days; where it does not, they come from this single test run and are labelled as such. Thresholds are Google’s published Core Web Vitals bands. The agentic browsing score is Google’s too — a Lighthouse category they describe as still under development, measuring whether an AI agent can operate the page.

    How it works

    Research. Build. Grow. Repeat.

Every campaign follows the same proven process — designed to produce measurable, long-term growth.

    1. Step 1

      Research

We uncover search demand, competitor gaps, customer questions, and AI opportunities before a single recommendation is made.

    2. Step 2

      Build

We create one connected marketing system where SEO, AI Visibility, paid media, websites, content, and video all work together.

    3. Step 3

      Launch

Every campaign is deployed with performance, visibility, and conversion in mind — across Google, AI, YouTube, and paid channels.

    4. Step 4

      Improve

We measure everything, refine continuously, and help your business grow month after month through data-driven optimization.
