For law firms

Cost per signed case.
Not cost per click.

Legal is the most expensive keyword auction there is, which makes vague reporting unusually costly. We build the search and the intake that produce signed matters — and we report the number that decides whether any of it worked.

The problem

In legal, a bad lead is not cheap. It's the most expensive thing you buy.

Legal clicks run to tens of dollars and sometimes far more, which changes the maths entirely. In most industries a poorly-qualified lead wastes a little budget. In legal it wastes budget at a rate that can make an otherwise healthy campaign lose money — and cost per lead reporting hides it completely, because an unqualified enquiry and a signed case both count as one.

So the only number worth optimising against is cost per signed case, which means intake has to be measured as carefully as the advertising. A firm can have excellent campaigns and still lose, because enquiries arrive when nobody answers and are gone within the hour.

What we report instead

  • Cost per signed case

Enquiries traced through consultation to a signed matter, by practice area.

  • Qualified rate by source

What proportion of each channel's enquiries are actually the matters you take.

  • Intake speed

Time to first human response — the variable that decides most legal enquiries.

What we run for Law Firms

The whole stack, tuned for a firm.

Bought separately these underperform. Run together, each one makes the next cheaper.

  1. 01

    Local Search & Map Pack

Rank for practice area plus city — the searches that produce matters — rather than for broad legal terms that produce browsing. Google Business Profile, citations, review generation, and link detox where a previous vendor bought something regrettable.

  2. 02

Google Ads & Local Services Ads

Tight campaigns by practice area with aggressive negative-keyword work, because in this auction the wrong click is genuinely expensive. Plus Local Services Ads for law, which is priced per lead rather than per click and screened before it reaches you.

  3. 03

    AI Visibility (GEO / AEO)

People now describe their situation to an AI agent before they ever search, and the answer names a few firms. Crawler access, structured data for practice areas and location, and content that actually answers the question — which is also what earns the citation.

  4. 04

    Website & Brand

A fast site organised by practice area, with attorney credentials and real case outcomes where you are permitted to publish them, and a consultation request that works on a phone at 11pm. Ethical constraints on claims are treated as a given, not an obstacle.

  5. 05

    Capture & Convert

Legal enquiries go to whoever responds first, and often that is measured in minutes. AI answering and trained intake staff pick up on the first ring, screen against your criteria, and book the consultation — every call transcribed and scored so you can see which matters were lost at intake rather than in the auction.

  6. 06

    Measurement & Growth

Spend, leads, cost per lead, cost per acquisition, revenue and return on spend — one clean scorecard every month, plus a strategy call to decide what to scale and what to cut. You always know what a customer costs and what they're worth.

Proof, not adjectives

Where our numbers come from.

Straight answer: every client figure Red Palm publishes today comes from home-service and trades businesses, and so does every testimonial film. We are not going to dress one up as a legal case study. The mechanics transfer — local search, tight paid campaigns, fast intake and attribution through to a signed matter work the same way — but until a firm agrees to publish its numbers, this page is an argument rather than a result. Ask on the call and we will walk you through the real accounts.

Straight answers

The questions a managing partner actually asks.

Before you hire any marketing agency, make sure you know these answers.

Legal clicks cost a fortune. How do I not waste it?

By refusing to optimise against cost per lead. At legal click prices the difference between an enquiry you can take and one you cannot is the whole margin, and a blended cost-per-lead figure treats them identically. Tight campaigns by practice area, sustained negative-keyword work, and reporting that stops at cost per signed case rather than cost per enquiry.

Is Local Services Ads available for law firms?

Yes, in eligible practice areas and jurisdictions, and it behaves differently from ordinary PPC — you are charged per lead rather than per click, and Google screens before the lead reaches you. It is frequently a better first dollar than broad search for firms that qualify. Eligibility is worth checking before assuming either way.

How much of this is intake rather than marketing?

More than most firms expect. We have seen campaigns blamed for poor results where the actual loss was enquiries arriving after five o'clock and being returned the next morning, by which point the matter was signed elsewhere. That is why intake speed is reported as a number here rather than left as an assumption.

Why aren't AI agents recommending my business?

Usually one of two things. Your robots.txt is quietly blocking the AI crawlers — GPTBot, ClaudeBot and Google-Extended are blocked by default on a surprising number of sites — or your pages carry no structured data telling the model what you do, where you work and when you're open. Both are fixable, and most of your competitors haven't done it yet.

Do I own my accounts and website?

Yes. The site, the domain, the ad accounts, the Google Business Profile, the analytics — all in your name. You keep everything if you ever leave. Marketing built on a vendor's rented accounts is a hostage situation, and cleaning that up is half of what we get called in to do.

How fast will I see results?

Paid can produce consultations in the first week. Local search moves in weeks for profile work and months for content and links, and competitive practice areas are slower still. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is selling something. We report signed cases and cost per signed case from month one.

It never misses a call. That's money back on your table.

The calls that come in after hours mostly go to voicemail — where they quietly die. Our AI CSR picks up on the first ring, every single time, qualifies the job and books it. Every call it catches is revenue that would otherwise have gone to whoever answered first.

    Every month, the money.

Not a dashboard you never log into. Spend, enquiries, qualified rate, signed cases and cost per signed case, broken out by practice area.

Every campaign is traced from the click or the call all the way to the booked job and the revenue it produced. You see which campaigns make money and which ones we’re about to kill — before you have to ask. Once a month we sit down, walk the numbers, and decide what to spend more on and what to cut.

    Check your own site

How does your site actually hold up?

One address, one test. Google loads your site on a throttled mid-range phone and reports what a real visitor gets, and at the same time we check whether AI agents are even allowed to read you. Takes about thirty seconds, and we don't keep the result.

A finished site check on screen: an overall score of 78 percent, with performance, SEO, mobile, security and conversion each scored out of 100.

Measured by Google PageSpeed Insights on a simulated mid-range phone. Where your site has enough traffic, the numbers are what real visitors actually experienced over the last 28 days; where it does not, they come from this single test run and are labelled as such. Thresholds are Google’s published Core Web Vitals bands.
